Kevin Mulvey, who was a part of the trade that brought Johan Santana over from the Twins, has agree to a minor league contract with the New York Mets.
Mulvey was traded in ’08 as part of the Johan Santana deal with the Twins. He pitched in ’11 for the Diamondbacks organization in Reno.

On a minor league deal the team really isn’t risking anything, though if they’re trying to reclaim pieces from the Santana trade I wish they would have started with Philip Humber or Carlos Gomez.
